Salmonberry
Salmonberry, any of several prickly shrubs of the genus Rubus, especially
R. spectabilis of western North America, having trifoliate leaves
and fragrant reddish flowers. These berries are found all over in Alaska
in the summer, as well as many, many folks gathering them up to be eaten
on the spot or made into jam.
